Proactivity in a social environment and good information are characteristics of the Spanish traveler increasingly prominent, as noted in the 2nd Online Travel Kayak Barometer, which has done the Kayak flight search engine.

In front of the survey that was carried out in the first study conducted by Kayak, in which the trends in the use of mobile flight applicationsOn this occasion, the report is the result of the opinions of leading experts in social networks and tourism products and services.

At 2nd Kayak Barometer the traveler trends during the trip process, from inspiration and planning, to reservation and purchase, the trip itself and the post-trip.

In the initial stage of inspiration, Raul Jimenez, CEO of Minube, highlights the importance of social websites with recommendations and opinions of travelers, and several prominent travel bloggers point out the influence of the expert traveler who transmits travel experience.

Regarding the trip planning, Antoni Perpigna, from ReallyLateBooking.com, points out the great importance that travelers' opinions have acquired when booking a hotel for their trip. And, for its part, Lluis Pons, marketing director of the airline Vueling, highlights the greater use that the mobile channel will have for booking flights.
