We could say that where to sleep in Greece It is one of the most common questions you ask us, after reading the practical guide to the trip to Greece in 32 days. With this in mind, we want to leave you a selection of all the accommodations that we have used in this Greece for free, with a brief description and opinion, about what each of them has seemed.

Phaedra Hotel

The first of the hotels where to sleep in Greece, on this trip to Greece in 32 days, took us to Athens, to the Phaedra Hotel, one of the best rated accommodations in the city.
With an unbeatable location, next to the Acropolis, just 100 meters from the main entrance and in the heart of Plaka, this is undoubtedly one of the great successes of Greece for free, since it has allowed us to visit the Acropolis and the tourist places of Athens from a privileged location.

The rooms are small, but have everything you need to spend several nights and those on the upper floors, although they are a bit more expensive, have spectacular views of the Acropolis. To take into account that there are some that although they have a private bathroom, this one is outside the room, so if you don't like the idea, you should choose the rooms in which it is indicated that the bathroom is inside.

They have breakfast service, for 5 euros, although there are many cafes next to the accommodation, so it can be interesting to opt for this option if you want to know the neighborhood. Do not forget to visit the common terrace of the hotel, on the top floor, as it has spectacular views.
For more information on the best hotels and neighborhoods we recommend you check this post of where to stay in Athens.

Pegasus Rooms

Accommodation where to sleep in Greece, in Corinth, next to the archaeological site of Ancient Corinth, so it is an excellent option to visit the site and as an intermediate point between the visit of the Corinth Canal and Mycenae.
The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need and the attention from the owners is personalized and incredibly friendly.
Although everything is remarkable, what struck us the most is the breakfast, included in the price of the room, which we can say has really been the most complete we have ever had on our trips.

Breakfast at the hotel in Corinth

The hotel has private parking, so it is perfect if you are making a route through the country and come with a rental car in Greece.

Accommodation in Galaxidi, a small fishing village, not very common among the most tourist stops in Greece, but according to our experience, a success, as well as charming, it is a perfect place to visit the Osios Loukas Monastery in Greece, from Road to Delphi.
With incredible views of the sea, it has very spacious rooms and bathroom, with all the comforts. The only problem is that if it is very hot, the air conditioning does not have much force, although at night it usually refreshes in the area, so this should not represent any problem.
As an extra we can say that Wi-Fi has been one of the best we had during the whole trip, something very important for us.
Breakfast is included in the price of the room and it is a buffet type although they will prepare sandwiches or eggs, depending on what you prefer, as well as in all the accommodations of this trip to Greece, a really spectacular yogurt with honey.

Doupiani House Hotel

Accommodation in Kastraki, a perfect location to visit the Meteora Monasteries in Greece and which we would dare to say, is one of the best accommodations of this trip to Greece.
In our experience, it is advisable to book a superior room with views, since from them you have an impressive perspective of Meteora and it really is worth that extra expense.
The rooms, like the bathroom, are spacious, have all the comforts and if we have to find a but is that the wifi does not work too well, because although there is coverage in the rooms, it is very slow at some times.

Views from our room in Kastraki

Breakfast is included in the price of the station and is a very complete buffet breakfast with top quality products, which is served on a terrace with views.

In addition to being very close to the main points of interest of Chora, the capital of Mykonos, less than 50 meters away is one of the free public parkings in the town, making it a great accommodation option in Chora.
It is also very close to Fabrika, the bus station and just at the beginning of the center of Mykonos so one of the strengths of this accommodation, in addition to an excellent quality / price ratio, is its location.
Without any doubt, staying in these apartments is one of the best tips for traveling to Greece that we can give you.

Athina Apartments

This hotel in Naxos, one of the accommodations where to sleep in Greece, is a little away from the center about 200 meters, although it has other factors that make it perfect, such as having the city's public parking just 50 meters apart from having the beach less than 100 meters away, one of the places to see in Naxos, making it a perfect option.

Although as we say location is perfect, the room is quite fair in terms of space, as is the bathroom, which sometimes has a rather unpleasant smell, in addition to the wifi signal does not work.
It has common spaces and a terrace that really is very nice, although the only one problem is that, although they announce that they do not accept animals, they have a fairly large dog, who walks through the accommodation, so if you do not like animals, you are allergic or afraid, it is not a highly recommended accommodation.

Gaby Apartments

This hotel in Firostefani, in Santorini, we could say that it is one of the hotels with the best views of Santorini, since it is located right next to the Greek Orthodox church that is one of the most famous images of the island.
Although the church can be seen from the viewpoint, the images from closer, you can only get them from the hotel or from one of its common areas, such as the terrace, so it is a gift to be able to stay here.
Keep in mind that due to its location, it is usually always full, so it is worth reserving with time.

Sunset from a viewpoint of the hotel to the Greek Orthodox Church of Firostefani

The accommodation has different types of rooms, although we recommend that you choose those that have a private balcony, preferably those in the upper area, although those in the lower part, have incredible views of the caldera and the sunset, which are spectacular.
