Ibis Gent Centrum Opera

Hotel in Ghent quite central.
Choosing this hotel was for us a reason for quality / price ratio and we cannot say otherwise that we are right.
The hotel is quite impersonal, both for attention and design.
Check-in is quite cumbersome, as they fill out several forms, in our opinion, totally expendable.
The room is quite small, although comfortable and with all the necessary things to spend a couple of days.
The heating makes a lot of noise, although counting that at night we burst, it has not been too uncomfortable.
In the room we do not have a mini bar or a complimentary bottle of water.
At the reception we find a machine where you can buy small bottles of water for 2 euros.
Breakfast is not included in the price of the room and its price is 15 euros per person.
They have Wi-Fi throughout the establishment for free and with a speed of quality.

Park Inn by Radisson Brussels Midi

Hotel in Brussels located just in front of the Brussels Midi Station.
It's the perfect option if you have to move or go from Brussels to Charleroi at hours outside normal public transport hours. It can also be a very valid option if you choose to have Brussels as a base to make different visits of one or more days to the different Flemish cities.

The rooms are quite spacious, comfortable and very clean. This is something that is usually seen in this type of hotel chains.
They have free wifi in all facilities with good speed and with a more than acceptable signal even in the rooms of the highest floors.
The staff is very friendly, and we even met a Spanish girl at the reception with whom we had a conversation about our trip and our option to take Brussels as a base this last night.
