THE 9 BEST DESTINATIONS FOR 2019

2019 is here and the time has come to address two very important issues: choose the diet that we are NOT going to follow (ains those polvorones) and think about the next vacation. Well, it's always the ideal time to think about vacations, but now is when you have to ask for them. In this post we are going to recommend those that, for us, are the 9 best destinations for 2019(It doesn't cost us to make the selection).

We have divided the trips into 3 groups:

• Getaways (2-3 days).
• Trips (1 week).
• Traveling (3-weeks).

As for us, we hope to enjoy several of the trips that we are going to propose. Let's see at the end of 2019 how many we managed to do hehe.

POLAND

At this point of the year, what you most want is a beach of white sand and turquoise waters, but believe us: Poland is a great success. Especially if you are one of those who enjoy good food and the cities of northern Europe. We, in 2018, visited Warsaw and found it a very interesting city. For 2019 we would love to know what many define the Polish jewel: Krakow. Although what matters most to us is to eat pierogi again, so that we will deceive you.

MOROCCO

We have traveled twice to the antipodes and still do not know Morocco. It is almost a crime! This year we hope to remedy this traveling spot with a few-day getaway. The options are several: Marrakech, Fez, Tetouan ... At the moment we would not know how to choose, we have a craving for all, but we are sure that whatever it is, we will return with a tremendous desire to continue knowing this country.

CINQUE TERRE

It is not an unknown destination, moreover, 2018 seems to have been the great year of those 5 beautiful villages that dominate part of the Ligurian Coast. Although we have traveled through much of Italy, we still have to know this area, we hope that we can soon tell you more about our experience in this destination. In addition, arriving is easy considering that from Spain there are many cheap flights to Milan or Pisa (and from there you can easily get there by train).

ALBANIA

There is much talk about Croatia and Greece, but Albania has nothing to envy its neighbors! Of course, it is more "wild" than the previous ones, so be prepared to live the occasional surreal scene (but it will be worth it). A week can be very well spent in Albania. We recommend spending 1 day in Tirana, its capital, another day in Berat, the city of a thousand windows, and about 5 days doing a roadtrip along the coast (its waters are so transparent that it is impossible to resist the temptation of a few bathrooms !). And, as in the rest of the Balkans, you eat well and cheaply!

EGYPT

A few days ago there was a new attack in Egypt so we did not know whether to continue recommending this destination or not, but we cannot let fear win over freedom. Luckily, more and more is being fought against this scourge and the security for its population and for travelers is greater. To the question Is it safe to travel to Egypt? The answer is that, unfortunately, in this crazy world today, it is as safe as traveling to Strasbourg during the birth markets 🙁 The choice is yours. We have to tell you that we have just returned from Egypt and we have found it a wonderful destination, where the history of one of the great civilizations becomes so present that it can almost be touched. Seriously, navigating the Nile, visiting its temples, or getting lost in the chaos of Cairo was the best of our 2018, and we hope it can be the best of your 2019.

NY

Nothing new here: the Big Apple is a destination that never goes out of style and rightly so. It is such a special city and there are so many things to see and do in New York that it manages to make (almost) everyone fall in love. Any date is good for a sneak, and flights are usually quite cheap. One week is enough time to know the main attractions of the city. Here we leave all the articles we write about New York (they are a few XD).

PERU

It is one of the destinations marked in red in our traveler calendar for 2019. We believe that it is not necessary to have been to know that this legendary land is a great success for anyone who enjoys different cultures and emblematic places of the planet. Going up to Machu Pichu, wandering through Cuzco, watching the sunset in the ocean in front of Lima, flying over the Nazca Lines and getting lost in the landscapes of Paracas is something that, we are sure, we dream a few.

INDIA

It is often said that India loves or hates itself, although from experience we tell you that you will end up experiencing both sensations. The one in India is not a simple trip, but if you feel prepared you will be rewarded with a unique experience. India, more than another country, is a parallel universe where everything is possible. On a first trip we would recommend getting to know New Delhi, Agra and the Taj Mahal, and the main cities of Rajasthan. Of course, arm yourself with patience and be well disposed ... it may be the trip of your life!

AUSTRALIA

If you think that to prepare a trip to Australia you have to mortgage, good news! If you ride it well, a trip to the other side of the world can be cheaper than you think. For starters there are companies like Scoot that fly cheaply to the antipodes (offers can be found for about 450-600 € (i / v) from Athens with stopover in Singapore). And once there you have many options to travel the country (or rather, to travel part of the country). For a 3-week trip we recommend arriving in Sydney, renting a van and touring the east coast to Cairns and from there flying to Melbourne, where, among other things, you can visit the Great Ocean Road, one of the most beautiful panoramic roads in the world .
